Viking Spas are designed with energy efficiency in mind, using an insulation system that helps retain heat and reduce unnecessary energy loss. Each spa is built to meet or exceed the energy-efficiency requirements established by the California Energy Commission (CEC) for portable spas.

The Arctic insulation system combines multiple layers of protection to help maintain consistent water temperatures. A 2 lb. polyurethane foam is applied to the underside of the spa shell, while additional foam board insulation and temperature-shield material provide another barrier inside the cabinet.
